This classic gin-based cocktail is made using cointreau, or another triple sec. The orange aspect of this cocktail perfectly compliment the notes of orange in Brighton Gin. We’ve used egg white in this to create a silky, smooth texture. But, it’s also delicious without!
50ml Brighton Gin 25ml fresh lemon 25ml Cointreau 10ml Sugar syrup 1 Large pasteurised egg
Combine all ingredients together in a shaker and shake without ice (this is known as dry shaking) for roughly a minute. Add ice and ‘wet’ shake until the outside of the shaker is frosty. Strain into a coupe and garnish with an orange slice. We’ve dried ours out here (Simply slice up an orange into ½ centimeter slice and leave on a wire rack at 60 degrees in the oven for 3 hours)
