Grapefruit & Basil Gin Fizz
It’s definitely starting to feel more spring like and we don’t know about you but we’d like to celebrate with a light, refreshing gin cocktail made with grapefruit and basil. Yeah, you didn’t really expect anything else did you? This beauty is sure to immediately improve your Saturday afternoons so give it a go and let us know how you get on by sending in your pictures!
Serves 1 drink: 50ml Brighton Gin (available here) 150ml Pink Grapefruit Juice (available here) Basil (available here) 50ml premium Tonic Water (we love Folkington’s) Angostura Bitters (available here) Ice
Clap a few basil leaves in your hands to release their flavours, then muddle them in the bottom of a glass with a few chunks of grapefruit (how much grapefruit is really up to you and the size of your glass). Next, add the Brighton Gin, ice, grapefruit juice and tonic. Give it all a good stir, then top with a few drops of Angostura Bitters. Finally, garnish with a chunk of grapefruit and some basil. ENJOY
