Another International Award for Brighton Gin
Brighton Gin wins International Wine & Spirit Gold Medal for Artwork and Design
Brighton Gin has just won its ninth International Wine & Spirits Award. The Gold Medal was given for Brighton Gin’s artwork and bottle design.
The judges voted Brighton Gin as “an outstanding example” of design, awarding it 100% in all voting categories for its creativity, impact, innovation, relevance and aesthetics.
Brighton Gin is proudly hand-distilled by the seaside and its design is influenced by the city: the colour of the label and waxed top are taken from Brighton’s seafront railings, and the lettering inspired by the sign above the entrance to the world-famous Palace Pier. The label itself is shaped like a ticket to the fairground on the Pier.
Brighton Gin’s founder, Kathy Caton said “We’re excited to have achieved this award for our packaging and branding, which reflects our home town. Every part of our production is done by hand so this is a real acknowledgement of the work and care we put into every bottle of Brighton Gin. We’re proud to have been recognised for bringing the Spirit of Brighton to the world.”
Brighton Gin was created through a love of gin, but also founded in the spirit of the values that Brighton holds dear and which make the city what it is: independent, fun-loving, open-minded and adventurous. It’s loved by gin aficionados and casual tipplers alike, for its refreshing citrus flavour and bold juniper notes. Find out more about Brighton Gin’s other local, national and international awards.
